13th, Ava DuVernay

Spending time watching the 2016 documentary, 13th, by Ava DuVernay brought intense emotion the more times I watched.  The additional documentary / independent films that reside within a similar framework below came to mind visualizing various moments and recreations.  

- Ken Burns: The Central Park Five

- Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution

- The Stanford Prison Experiment
